im feeling a tad sick to the stomach now. please do not place jugs of alcohol in front of me. i tend to eat/drink whatever thats placed right in front of me.hahaa i just made myself sound like a glutton, but its an absentminded thing really. i think its the lack of exercise thats made my tolerance go down!
Hanging out with old friends tonight was great. food, booze and cam-whoring. i miss ac. music at timbre was a letdown today though.
Shopping for last minute gift exchange today was hilarious. hahaa thanks Raymond for being so patient while shopping with me and for your..er..very creative input LOL. And no edwin, ive not become 'arty farty'. i was at art friend trying to make a $10 HMV gift voucher look more presentable heh.
Caught My Blueberry Nights with raymond, then went to meet the band at mind cafe. My Blueberry Nights was alright. it has the distinct Wong Kar Wai touch. But i cant believe so many people were sleeping in the theatre! tsk. there were at least two people snoring, including the auntie sitting next to me. And yeah, mind cafe again. hahaa i dont usually like playing board games at overpriced rates at a cafe with overpriced food but today was fun la i must admit. its especially fun playing games meant for 6 year olds (and above of course). heh
haha wow. im actually blogging about day to day activities. This is to make up for the negligence over the semester! heh ive been quite lazy to take photos since malacca, also since ive yet to fix my camera. you'll just have to contend with words and more words for now :)

Incubus live!! 7th March. $95. argh. Should i/should i not?! Cash flow's in ebb mode right now :( But its INCUBUS! West grand boulevard's opening for them! How awesome. 7 more days to decide.
i realise that this past week, God had planned different people and different incidents to tell me the same thing. God is good :)
Heroes season 2 is awesome. but i cant watch too many at one go especially at night! heh
We've got a good thing, 'cept for one aspect. i know what i need to do, yet i cant bring myself to do it just yet.
Such randomness. its 4 AM. night y'all!

im dead beat. just back from another jam session with the band. i have very lame bandmates! Laughed like mad till i got abs today. We all swapped roles midway for fun, and i became the bassist. I love bass guitar! hahaa im such a noob at it though. Elias is teaching me soon! :)
Was in Malacca this week for 3 days with Ty, desmond, geraldine, Su ern, xian lun and Seng tatt. Ty gave us a crash course in photography before the trip (sorry dude for missing your lecture!hahaa), and it was more of a photography trip than sightseeing. But. ive no pictures on me now! Parents brought the camera to japan, and they came back one day before i left for Malacca. When they passed me the cam, they told me i cant take photos in the daytime! True enough, all my daytime photos turned out looking whitewashed :( Thanks Ty for lending me your camera during the trip!
Despite the trip starting off on a stressful note, resulting in me spending $31.65 on cab fare (arghh. long story!), the rest of the trip picked up from there :) Malacca surprised me. i thought there would be nothing much to do, but the place turned out better than expected ( i still prefer singapore though! hahaa) Good food. Equatorial Hotel's international buffet was awesome. A&W! Chicken rice balls! Good photography. Will upload all the b.e.a.utiful photos i took once i get them! Good company! Watched a movie ( i am legend) for the first time overseas cuz we were too shagged to walk anymore at night. Thank God it didnt rain at all, and we had strong sunlight for photography. i need to lose weight and save money now!
Christmas is coming! A friend mentioned to me that she wasnt really in the Christmas-y mood. Which got me thinking. What exactly gets us in the Christmas mood? Presents? Cards? Shopping? Parties? Christmas is so commercialized these days. We fill the days leading up to Christmas with activities and events to celebrate the festive season. But at the end of it all, do we really feel satisfied? Have we grasped the true meaning of Christmas? daniel played a beautiful song during guitar lesson today. its called "Christmas isn't Christmas" The lyrics are beautiful. hahaa im trying to work out a jazz version of the song, hopefully ill get to play it to some of you guys if i manage to master it. but anyway. In the midst of all the festivities, i must spend some time with God. i pray that He'll give me a renewed understanding and appreciation of His gift of love to me, and to all of us this season.
